The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor is one of the oldest in the nation and was designated for its rich history, agricultural past and present, and its wide-open green At its recent Annual Meeting, held at Creaser Park in Coventry, members of The Last Green Valley, Inc. (TLGV) elected new officers and board members.
Joining Board Chairman Mike Nelson of Norwich, CT are Myra Ambrogi of Plainfield, CT as Vice Chairman; Lisa Hayden of Sturbridge, MA as Secretary, and Marty Nieski of Woodstock, CT as Treasurer of the Board of Directors.
Current board member Karyn DiBonaventura of Pomfret, CT was re-elected to a three-year term. DiBonaventura is owner of Longmeadow
The Last Green Valley, Inc. (TLGV) is pleased to announce the US Army Corps of Engineers as the 2019 Team Walktober. TLGV designates one person, or team of people, to represent the best of Walktober. The U.S. Army Corps team of Michelle Cucchi, Nicole Giles, Cathy St. Andre and Glenna Vitello exemplify the volunteer spirit that has made Walktober a success for the last 29 years.
